Ian's Week 13 Fanduel Value Picks
Week 13 Value Fanduel Picks
After taking thanksgiving off I’m back to give you the best value picks so…Let me go over some important information so you are fully aware of what this article’s purpose is. We use Fanduel for our daily fantasy plays, Draft Kings will be close to this information but could be different. Fanduel gives every person a budget of $60,000 for 9 total roster spots, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, and 1 D/ST. This leads you to an average of $6,667 per roster spot. In this article, I will be giving you 1 player from each position that I believe is the best value of the week. I will do my best to keep it under $6700, except QB. The main purpose is to not pick every single guy from this list for your team; I don't think that would be an optimal team. These players will save you money so you can go get the high priced players you really want somewhere else.
QB
Most Expensive: Patrick Mahomes $9,000
My Pick: Mike White $6,900
More Expensive Option: Trevor Lawrence $7,500 He’s playing the Lions like c’mon
Big risk means big reward and Mike White came out last week and showed us that the Jets offensive struggles fell on the shoulders of Zach Wilson. The Terminator last week had just 6 incompletions to go with 315 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Vikings allow the most passing yards per game this season and allow the 5th most fantasy points to opposing QB’s. Mike White gives this Jets team some hope, so far, and is someone they feel they can rally behind. The Jets offense is surprisingly talented and we should be seeing that over the next couple weeks.
RB
Most Expensive: Nick Chubb $9,600
My Pick: Brian Robinson Jr. $6,600
Super Duper Value but is Scary: Kyren Williams $5,500 Weak opponent and lead team in snaps
Every other pick this week below this price point is a super big risk and I don't like to normally pick someone this close to the average cost, but Robinson has shown us why he deserves to be running the ball in Washington. Last week he had 105 yards on 18 carries compared to Gibson’s 9 carries. The Giants are mid tier defense but can be exploited, and the Commanders are surging right now? I know I'm confused as well, but they have won 6 of their last 7. I'll take the number one option of a hot team any week.
WR
Most Expensive: Tyreek Hill $9,000
My Pick: Donovan Peoples-Jones $6,100
We all know Amari Cooper doesn't like to fly and it affects his fantasy performance, but because of that Jones actually performs better in his place. It is yin and yang. Cooper in the 4 games he has flown to this season 10 receptions on 17 targets for 132 yards and 0TD’s. Peoples-Jones in those same games 22 receptions 35 Targets for 301 yards and 0TD’s. With the game this week at Houston, Jones has the ability to have a solid game and steal some easy TD’s against a very poor Houston team.
TE
Most Expensive: Travis Kelce $8,400
My Pick: Gerald Everett $5,400
Las Vegas bad. Herbert good. Thats it.
But in reality, Herbert finally looks healthy and he is able to spread the ball around a little better. With how short Joe Lombardi likes to keep the offensive playbook, Everett is a great target for the middle of the field. All he needs is to steal a TD which he is capable of doing and suddenly Everett is top 5 on the week.
DEF
Most Expensive:Cleveland Browns/ Dallas Cowboys $5,000
My Pick: Baltimore Ravens $4,500
The Ravens are playing the Broncos… Let's Ride. Let’s Ride. Let's Ride. Let’s Ride. Let's Ride. Let’s Ride. Let's Ride. Let’s Ride. Let's Ride. Let’s Ride. Let's Ride. Let’s Ride. Let's Ride.
