WEEK 18: SIT OF THE WEEK
SIT ‘EM
Tyler Huntley, QB
Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
So about last week being the “last” week. Um, I got a little overzealous and may have forgotten that week 18 is still a thing. For those of you who are playing week 18 and for those of you who aren’t, I appreciate you reading this even though it doesn’t really have any direct effect on your fantasy team at this point. Maurice is back and taking a long rest after his country wide excursion, so this article is all on me. The sit of this week, as you’ve seen unless you refuse to read things in bold, is Tyler Huntley. I know that is a bit of a gamble since Lamar Jackson is listed as out so you may need to play him but hear me out on this. I am aware both teams need to win to have any chance of making the playoffs but there are other quarterbacks in better positions this week that you can play. For some of those listen to our podcast on week 18 streamers where we mention a few that could come through for you in this very final week of the fantasy season. Despite that, the main reason I suggest sitting Tyler Huntley is that he stares directly into the face of the likely Defensive MVP this season, T.J. Watt who is going for the all time single season sack record. Therefore, I would not want to be Huntley since he will probably be getting quite familiar with the turf whether he likes it or not courtesy of Watt. The Ravens have also not been that great when Lamar Jackson plays poorly or just hasn’t played having lost their last 5 games in a row. Huntley can put up numbers but I don’t expect that to happen this week and when he does poorly, it’s usually because he doesn’t score, you know the thing that players are supposed to do.
