MOST INTRIGUING MATCHUP- WEEK 14
Buffalo Bills @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The 7-5 Bills head to Tampa Bay to take on the 9-3 Buccaneers in one of the few matchups between teams with winning records in Week 14. Tom Brady and the Bucs enter on a 3-game winning streak in which they’ve scored over 30 points per game. This Bucs team is hitting their stride again late in the year just like they did last season which saw them on their way to a Super Bowl title. Tom Brady looks as if he hasn’t slowed down one bit, and he is pushing this offense forward with his 1-2 combo at wide receiver with Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. Rob Gronkowski has been a force to be reckoned with when healthy as he continues to cash in on his red zone targets. None of this, however, compares to the surprise that has been the season we’ve seen from Leonard Fournette, who has looked like a rejuvenated runner and has elevated his pass-catching game to elite levels. On the other side, Josh Allen has had a yo-yo type season that has seen him either as a top-4 QB or outside the top-12. Stefon Diggs has been the most reliable position player for the Bills which sees him as the WR 9 on the season. Outside of Diggs and Allen, there haven’t been any other consistent fantasy starters for the Bills that are worth playing unless you want to take a flyer on Dawson Knox or Cole Beasley. This is a prove it game for the Bills, who need to show something after embarrassing performances in 3 of their last 5 games while trying to avoid falling towards the back of the playoff hunt. The Bucs look to continue their hot streak in a game which I expect to be close but will ultimately have them coming out on top.
