When it comes to the playoff push, it’s time to start planning multiple weeks ahead. Looking at defenses and QB matchups is a huge difference maker in terms of team success. Not everyone has Patrick Mahomes or the Steelers defense rostered, so for the rest of us out there, we need to be diligent when it comes to waiver wire adds and drops. For this reason, I am suggesting picking up the Arizona Cardinals as your potential playoff streaming defense. In Week 14 and 15, the Cardinals draw easy matchups against the Giants, potentially without Daniel Jones, and the Eagles. Both of these teams struggle to protect their QBs and the football in general, with both having over 16 turnovers on the season. Both teams have also allowed more than 30 sacks on the season, with the Eagles leading the league with 46 sacks allowed. These teams are prime matchups, and with the Cardinals having shown they can take advantage of bad teams, they could be potential league winners. They are rostered in 23.1% of ESPN leagues, so add if possible and try to cash in on the potential.
