IAN'S WAIVER WIRE PICKUP - WEEK 8
Deejay Dallas- Seattle Seahawks RB
Deejay Dallas is the only healthy starting running back on the roster for the Seahawks. Chris Carson is week to week with a foot strain, Travis Homer has a bruised knee, and Rashaad Penny is still recovering from his knee injury. Carlos Hyde is the least injured besides Deejay Dallas, but he is still not certain to be able to play this Sunday. If Hyde is down, then Dallas is the workhorse by default and should see good volume, although the same can be said with Hyde if he is able to play. Overall, this week for the waiver wire is slim pickings and someone on roster should be able to play for you. If you are desperate enough or are dealing with an ungodly amount of injuries, then take the risk on one of these players. Personally, I am leaning toward Deejay Dallas out of the pure hope he is a surprise sleeper especially since he is getable at .5% owned in ESPN leagues. We have seen Carlos Hyde before and know we what he is capable of. I like to go for the risk and see what happens, especially if you’re searching the Waiver Wire this week for a player. If you’re really looking to shake your roster up, I would rather be looking for some trades.
