CHRISTIAN KIRK - WR ARIZONA CARDINALS

Start Him

Coming off a week where they absolutely embarrassed the Dallas Cowboys, the Arizona Cardinals look pretty darn good. One of the main factors in that win was Christian Kirk. He is the #2 in an offense that, once it gets going, is like the energizer bunny.

Since recovering from a groin injury, Kirk has had three weeks where he is a highly viable flex or WR3 option. He obviously doesn’t get the target share that Deandre Hopkins does but pretty much no one in the NFL does.

However, Kirk does fly around the field and makes his snaps worthwhile. He has three touchdowns in his past three games, and he has had two games in a row with 78 yards or more.

Even though he is a flex option, his matchup this week makes him my start him player for this week. He is going against the Seattle Seahawks who have allowed the most points to wide receivers this year. The Seahawks are coming off their bye week and have most likely game planned for Hopkins. Even though I expect Hopkins to get his, I think this matchup will allow for Kirk to get a good amount of yards and catches as well as one where he can possibly spend the night in the endzone hotel. For the past three weeks, he has shown he is a solid guy for Kyler Murray, and I expect that to continue this week in an incredibly favorable matchup at home against Pete Carroll’s birds.
