DFS VALUE PICKS

This week is very interesting since the game between the Titans and Steelers has been postponed which drops a lot of fantasy relevant players from possible lineups. Here are what I believe to be the best people to own that are below or near $6,700 in FanDuel lineups and are only playing on Sunday in the early games time slot. Like normal, QB’s on average cost more and defenses are much cheaper, so their prices will reflect more of a positional average.

QB Joe Burrow CIN $7400

Most Expensive Lamar Jackson $9600

Joe Burrow has been hot lately with 821 yards in 3 games and 5 total touchdowns with only 1 interception. Most of this is after having a poor game 1 against the Chargers, where he threw under 200 yards and 0 touchdowns. The biggest help Burrow is going to receive is from the easy defense he faces in Jacksonville. Jacksonville so far this season has been ranked 27 against opposing QB’s. At this price, for what Burrow has been able to do so far this season, this is a steal of a pick.

RB Mike Davis CAR $6300

Most Expensive Zeke $9000

Mike Davis is here for two reasons, volume and matchup. He is nowhere near the talent CMC is. However, since CMC has been gone, Davis has gotten heavy volume use especially in the passing game with 8 receptions on 9 targets in the last game. Arizona is also ranked 22nd against opposing RB's, so that should help a bit. In the running game Davis is good for about 50 yards, and in the passing game he’s good for another 50-70. He has a very good chance at scoring a touchdown in either category and will be another steal below average price.

WR Tyler Boyd CIN $6000

Most Expensive Deandre Hopkins $8700 but he’s questionable Tyler Lockett who will play is most expensive at $7500

Boyd is here for the stack and for the talent. He has elevated himself in Cincinnati as the number one option for Burrow to pass to, and in the past 2 games received a total of 21 targets and 17 receptions even though he went against the 5th and 9th ranked defenses opposing WR’s. Boyd would have had an even better day if he wasn't vultured by Tee Higgins for those TD’s.

TE- * Mo Allie-Cox IND $5300

Most Expensive Mark Andrews $7400

Philip Rivers has always loved his tight ends and Mo has usurped Jack Doyle as the leading TE in Indianapolis. These past 2 games where he's gotten the start, he racked up 161 yards and 1 TD even when factoring in the game against the Jets where they got ahead so quickly they completely stopped trying by the 4th quarter. Mo is going to receive plenty of redzone looks and he should make at least one of them count.

Flex James Robinson RB JAX $6600

Most Expensive Zeke $9000

I know this isn’t a great value pick since it is right at the average cost required, but to be frank I’m not a huge fan of everyone below this amount. James Robinson has earned himself workhorse duties all over the field for the Jaguars in both the running game and receiving game. Even if he isn't lucky enough to score, he gets enough touches and volume in general to still have solid fantasy output.

DEF Baltimore Ravens $5000

This is the most expensive option

It’s a defense and you should have saved plenty of money by now to afford them by the end. They have the best matchup against the Washington Football team which is a team with what feels like no offense. Baltimore is also coming off an honestly embarrassing loss and is looking to beat up on a much weaker opponent as a revenge game. In this instance Washington is the small freshman just trying out for the football team and Baltimore is the 5 star USC recruit locked and loaded ready to take all his anger out on this unsuspecting 14 year old boy.

*At the time of publishing the Colts were set to play at 1 p.m. ET but switched to 4 p.m. ET
