Joe Burrow has 141 pass attempts in 3 games this year and is behind only Dak Prescott with 143. That is an insane 47 throws a game for a rookie. That is frankly insane for anyone in the league to be doing consistently. That much volume speaks lots on how much they are able to already trust the young gunslinger. This week, they are facing the 19th ranked passing defense who has young, unproven corners. I have a strong feeling Burrow is going to be able to throw in this team and knowing their tendencies so far, he will throw the ball a lot. The biggest downside he has had to face so far is his own offensive line. On paper this game sounds horrible to watch and in reality, unless you are a fan. However, with the new cases of COVID appearing this week you might be in need of a quick QB swap in case PIT-TEN and MIN-HOU end up having their games cancelled. Joe Burrow is coming into his own and has some very good targets around him in Tyler Boyd, Tee Higgins, and Joe Mixon. Joe Burrow is my "why not start him" for this week especially if you have the fear your starting QB might miss some time this week.
