MOST INTRIGUING MATCHUP- WEEK 12

Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers

Two of the top NFC teams face off in Week 12 as the 7-3 Rams head to Green Bay to face the 8-3 Packers. The Rams have the benefit of coming off their bye, hopefully spending the week prepping their newest acquisition, Odell Beckham Jr, on the offense. The Rams struggled in their last game against the 49ers, and the Robert Woods injury seems to have caused more problems than originally expected. Woods was the clear #2 in the offense and had spent years with Sean McVay and the Rams, which was a crucial part of the seamless transition that allowed Matthew Stafford to look so good thus far. Now, with Cooper Kupp and Tyler Higbee as the most experienced players in the McVay system, the Rams will need to have Van Jefferson and OBJ step up their production. In terms of the run game, Darrell Henderson has been a consistent fantasy option and has shown his top-end potential this season. For the Packers, you can start three players with confidence: Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams and A.J. Dillon. Other than that, most Packers players are a dart throw looking to get into the end zone if you want them to produce fantasy relevance. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is coming off his best week of the season and is looking to keep the production rolling. Aaron Rodgers is currently dealing with a broken toe, which would concern me more if he hadn’t looked great against the Vikings in his last game. While the Rams defense offers more consistent pressure and quite frankly, better talent, Rodgers is in-line for a top-10 week. Adams is a must start regardless of matchup, weather conditions or injury status; if Adams is on the field, he’s in my lineup. A.J. Dillon has filled in nicely for Aaron Jones and is a clear top-20 fantasy running back until Jones returns from injury. I expect scores in the 20s for both teams with the Rams coming out on top.
