AARON'S MOST INTRIGUING MATCHUP

Kansas City Chiefs @ New Orleans Saints

This was a pretty bland week as far as matchups go in the NFL, but as I said last week, any game that features Patrick Mahomes is interesting. This game is no exception. The AFC leading Chiefs roll into New Orleans to face off against a Saints team that is getting back its leader in Drew Brees, who I am shocked can even walk at this point with all the injuries he had. Nonetheless, the Saints are looking to keep the offense rolling even without the services of their top WR Michael Thomas. The Chiefs are locked and loaded as always with a fully healthy offensive core that should be shown some resistance by this Saints defense who were caught a little off guard last week against the Eagles. I think that this is a game that will have both teams relying on their strengths. For the Saints that means ball control and playing nasty defense and for the Chiefs that means hopping aboard the “Patty Wagon” and seeing where he takes them. I think that this is a game the Chiefs win, and we might see Drew Brees look his age and struggle early in this one.
