AARON'S WAIVER WIRE PICKUP - WEEK 14

Carolina Panthers D/ST

This is one of the riskier waiver wire adds that I have advocated for this season. The Panthers defense has been playing much better as of late and have taken advantage of turnover prone offenses in the process. They scored 17 and 18 points in their last 2 games and are coming off their bye hopefully well rested. Likewise, the potential addition of Christian McCaffrey to the active roster can only mean good things for the team as a whole. With a productive offense that should limit how much time the defense spends on the field and with the Broncos being a below average offense, this is the play for those of you heavy underdogs who may have snuck into your fantasy playoffs. Roster construction is a huge part of what goes into waiver wire adds each week, and if I had the spot available and needed a defense with potential 15+ point ability, I’d be looking at the Panthers as my target.
