AARON'S WAIVER WIRE PICKUP - WEEK 11

Michael Pittman Jr.- Indianapolis Colts WR

If we have had anything in 2020 that has delivered on the hype, it has been this rookie wide receiver class. Between Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy and countless others, I think that there’s room for one more standout. Michael Pittman Jr. came into the year looking to lockup his role as the #2 WR for the Colts, but in short time, he has proven that he is worthy of the #1 spot. Over the last 2 weeks he’s tallied 11 catches for 157 yards, all while seeing a snap count over 80%. He’s finally establishing himself as the standout pass catcher on this team and looks like Philip Rivers go-to guy on the outside. Outside of his upcoming game against the Green Bay Packers, every matchup Pittman Jr. has is against a defense that ranks outside the top 16 in points per game allowed to WR. What that means is that he has some favorable matchups just in time to make a playoff push, especially with teams still having bye weeks through Week 13. He is currently rostered in only 5% of ESPN leagues, and I think he has flex potential from here on out.
