Robert Tonyan- Green Bay Packers TE

I tend to try and avoid players that I believe have had flash in the pan type performances, but that’s not what I believe this is. Robert Tonyan isn’t the leading receiver on his team. He's not even the most targeted. He ranks 27th in most targets for tight ends but has a league leading 5 receiving TDs, tied with Tampa Bay’s Mike Evans. All of this lands Tonyan as the #1 tight end through 4 weeks, and the production doesn’t seem to be stopping. Now, that doesn’t mean I expect him to finish as the #1 tight end on the year, but it does mean that I believe he has a role on this extremely productive offense. The Packers will be on bye for Week 5, which only allows for fantasy managers who either have droppable players on their roster or believe in the talent enough to maneuver through the bye week with him still on roster. He is currently 13.1% rostered, and I expect that number to increase to over 70% so now is your last chance to get in.
