T.Y. HILTON - WR INDIANNOPOLIS COLTS

Sit Him

“Expect a solid game from both T.Y. and Rivers here against a lackluster Jacksonville team who looks to be trying to secure the Trevor Lawrence in next years draft.” Wow, what idiot said that 2 weeks ago? They obviously had their thoughts clouded after watching old football highlights during the COVID lockdown that has plagued the country since March. T.Y. Hilton has had 2 dream matchups to start the season off against very weak secondaries in Jacksonville and Minnesota. Again, in week 3, he’s going against what I believe to be the worst team in football, the New York Jets. If this was the T.Y. from a couple years ago in this matchup, I would be screaming from the hills how much he needs to be started and how great of a week he would be having, but I can’t in good conscience give the advice that he needs to be started. For 2 weeks, I have believed in both Philip Rivers and T.Y. Hilton and for 2 weeks I have been let down. We are at a point where the trust is completely gone, and I would rather have T.Y. go off on my bench than risk having him be meh in my lineup. In the wise and eternal words of George W. Bush, “There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.”
