AARON'S WAIVER WIRE PICKUP - WEEK 2

James Robinson- Jacksonville Jaguars RB

After a surprising Week 1 victory against the Colts, there are a couple Jaguars players that could be valuable waiver wire candidates. However, I believe James Robinson is the one most worthy of the attention. He finished the week as RB 29 while playing 68% of the team’s offensive snaps. In a less than favorable game script in which the Jaguars only ran 50 total offensive plays, I believe that his value will only increase as the season progresses. He is the starter for a team that showed fight and the willingness to use him in all situations. He is currently rostered in 29.1% of ESPN leagues and in my opinion is a week to week flex option. - Aaron Clanton

Malcom Brown- Los Angeles Rams RB

Malcom Brown finished Week 1 as the RB 4 and gave Cam Akers enthusiasts something to worry about. Brown, despite being on the field for just 60% of the team’s offensive snaps, turned that into outstanding fantasy production. He saw multiple goal line carries, a share of the early down and 3rd down work. But most importantly, he just flat out looked better than Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson. Brown is only rostered in 7.9% of ESPN leagues and is the player I would consider as my top waiver wire target. He’s the starter for a good offense that has shown the willingness to run the ball on a consistent basis and until something else changes I believe he is a worthy back end RB 2 or top tier FLEX consideration each week.
